Arsenal in talks to sell Marquinhos to Cruzeiro - Mirror
Arsenal are in ongoing negotiations with Brazilian club Cruzeiro over the potential departure of winger Marquinhos, according to Mirror.
Despite speculation that a deal has already been agreed, sources suggest that the Gunners are still discussing the terms of an initial loan move, which would include an obligation to buy the 21-year-old Brazilian attacker.
Marquinhos has arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2022, with Arsenal's former sporting director Edu beating Wolves to secure the highly-rated winger from Sao Paulo in a £3million deal.
However, despite his early promise, including a goal and assist on his debut in a 2-1 Europa League victory over FC Zurich, Marquinhos has struggled to establish himself in the first team, making just six appearances.
Having spent part of this season on loan at Fluminense, it now looks likely that Marquinhos will return to Brazil permanently, with Arsenal working to finalize his departure.
