Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit has expressed concerns about Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz’s ability to become a more clinical forward, following the German's disappointing display in the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.

"What could Thierry Henry or Ian Wright do to help Gabriel Jesus or Kai Havertz? I’m not convinced that bringing them back to coach would make Havertz or Jesus more clinical.

"Confidence and decision-making in crucial moments are what matter, and those come from experience and self-belief," Emmanuel Petit has stated.

"Arsenal should consider emulating Manchester City’s 2018/19 system, where multiple players scored 10 or more Premier League goals. That way, you don’t need a striker to carry the entire burden." Petit has added.
