Is Jorginho's game becoming dirty?
Jorginho is one of the most accurate players at Chelsea. In his 12 Premier League appearances he only committed 7 fouls, which makes it 0.6 fouls per game. However, lately, the Italian with Brazilian roots was noticed making some rough tackles against his opponents.
The first tackle was in a 0-0 draw against Everton last week. Jorginho tried to get the ball off Gylfi Sigurdsson but inadvertently injured the Icelander. Everton's boss Marco Silva was really angry with that tackle and said that the Chelsea defender should have been sent off.
Yesterday Jorginho committed a nasty foul on Bruma in a match between Italy and Portugal.
The 26-year old was lucky enough not to see the red card in both cases, however, it'd be better for everyone if the Chelsea midfielder played more accurately. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lapse and soon our midfielder will get back to his high standards of fair play.
