Juventus' 'four-player swap deal' offer for Jorginho and Alonso explained in 5 key points
  • Sarri has reportedly identified his protege Jorginho as a prime target for the summer window. The Italian international is viewed as a replacement for Miralem Pjanic, whose future at Turin remains up in the air amidst interest from Barcelona, Chelsea and PSG.
  • Juventus are supposedly also keen to refresh their left-back options and are very much aware of the fact that the Blues could try to cash in on Marcos Alonso. The Spaniard has struggled to nail down a regular starting role under Lampard.
  • Chelsea value the duo at a combined €80 million (£71.8 million) so Juventus are planning a 'four-player swap deal'. The Serie A giants are ready to sacrifice two players as makeweights to drive down the direct cash amount involved.
  • The Bianconeri chiefs are reportedly planning to offer Adrien Rabiot and Federico Bernardeschi in part-exchange, meaning the combined valuation of the two players will be less than Chelsea's combined valuation of Jorginho and Alonso.

Here's a recap of Alonso's memorable free-kick vs Tottenham:

  • Juventus value Bernardeschi at €35m (£31.4m) and Rabiot at €25m (£22.5m) and will, therefore, offer an additional €20m (£18m) to make both ends meet.

Several rumours surrounding swaps deals between Juventus and Chelsea have been reported by the media in recent weeks.

Earlier in the year, it was understood that the Serie A giants were planning to offer Pjanic to Chelsea in exchange for Jorginho but the Bosnian has clearly expressed his desire to join Barcelona.

Jorginho's future at Stamford Bridge has long been up in the air amidst interest from Juventus. The Italian's agent, Joao Santos, has made an attempt to silence those rumours but it remains to be seen what the future holds for Chelsea's vice-captain.

Elsewhere, Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro have previously been mentioned among players Juventus could offer Chelsea in a swap deal.
