“It’s a problem, it’s a real problem,” Frank Leboeuf told ESPN while discussing Kepa Arrizabalaga.
“He was very inconsistent last season, he has to go. The fans, the coach have lost confidence about his performances, and maybe the centre-halves are also feeling the pressure.
“When you’re a centre-half or a full-back you need to have a comfortable presence behind you so that if you’re in danger, you know the guy behind you will save you. That wasn’t the case last season. I think he has to go, but they have to find another one.

Kepa was statistically the worst goalkeeper in the Premier League last season as he ranked dead last out of 25 keepers in the top flight in terms of save percentage from shots outside the box and saves per 90 minutes.
Leboeuf makes a valid point here and it has been reported that Chelsea are targeting Rennes goalkeeper Eduoard Mendy to come and better our leaky defence - he is a much better shot-stopper than Kepa!
