Fikayo Tomori broke Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous ‘highest jump’ record in Serie A after scoring his goal in AC Milan’s 3-0 win over Juventus at the weekend.
It’s said that Tomori jumped 8 ft 7 inches high to tower over defender Giorgio Chiellini and score his impressive header.
Ronaldo had initially set the record for recording the highest jump for a header last season – when he leapt 8 ft 5 inches into the air to score against Sampdoria.
Tomori – 6’1’ himself – is actually shorter than Cristiano (6’2’) but managed to produce an incredible leap to score the goal which sealed a big 3-0 win for his side.
AC Milan are determined to sign the young centre-back on a permanent basis next season but are not happy to be paying €28m for him.
