17 Chelsea players can play at Euro 2020: full list and when they can face each other

The European Championship starts this Friday already, and the Chelsea fans will have plenty of players to follow in the coming weeks.

The Blues will be represented by 17 players, more than any other club. Naturally, they'll all have different roles to play, but there's a good chance some of them will face each other at the Euros.

Group A

Jorginho is seen as a key player for this Italy side, while Emerson has a surprisingly good chance to be a regular starter too, despite a fringe role at Chelsea.

On June 20, in their last game in the group stage, Italy will take on Wales, and Ampadu could well play too, as his stock in the national side seems to be unaffected by the relegation with Sheffield United.

Group B

These two countries will face each other in their second game on June 17, but it would be a surprise to see Batshuayi start ahead of Romelu Lukaku.

Christensen, on the other hand, should benefit from his brilliant form at the club and be a staple in Denmark's defence.

Group D

Each matchday might include one encounter between Chelsea players. The Czech Republic is the only side in this group not to feature any Blues.

Both Gilmour and Kovacic might not be the regular starters for their teams. As for England, all three Blues have good chances to feature prominently.

Group E

The Chelsea captain received an unexpected Spain call-up for the first time since November 2018. Head coach Luis Enrique clearly has been impressed with the 31-year-old's performances in the second half of the season.

Spain have had serious Covid concerns in recent days which threatens their preparation for the tournament, so hardly anyone can name the team that will take on Sweden, Poland and Slovakia - and whether Azpi will be in it.

Group F

The first game of this group is a must-watch for the Chelsea fans: six Blues might be on the same pitch in the game between France and Germany on Tuesday, June 15.

This is considered to be a 'group of death', with Portugal also in it along with Hungary.
