Matt Miazga is set to return to Chelsea after his loan spell at Anderlecht ended without a permanent move.
Goal have reported that the Belgian club wanted to keep Miazga but couldn't meet Chelsea's valuation for the defender.
The 25-year-old himself has expressed his desire to stay in Belgium, telling HLN in April, "I would like to be here, but such a decision depends on several parameters."
With Miazga's current Blues contract running till 2022, he will either be sold or loaned out for another year unless Chelsea decide to extend his deal.
Even though he has impressed with Anderlecht, helping them qualify for the UEFA Conference League, his level is currently not good enough for the European Champions and he will likely be moved on in the transfer window.
