How Chelsea plan to use Haaland pursuit to snap 'long-term' target Jude Bellingham: explained

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is one of Chelsea's priority 'long-term' targets, according to Nizaar Kinsella of Goal.

Even though the 17-year-old isn't expected to leave BVB anytime soon, the Blues' bosses 'want to be at the front of the queue' for Bellingham when he leaves Westfalenstadion, as Kinsella puts it.

Thus, Chelsea want to build a strong relationship with Borussia while attempting to land Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian is also expected to stay at Dortmund beyond the summer but his move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2021/22 season looks very likely.

Bellingham, meanwhile, is set to extend his current deal with BVB by two seasons until 2025 in the coming months.
