Imagine that the summer transfer campaign went as planned and Chelsea have just finalised the signing of both Erling Haaland and Jules Kounde.
What numbers would they get then?
In our opinion, there are multiple scenarios. Of course, the most possible one is that Haaland gets the no. 9 (Tammy Abraham leaves the club) while Jules Kounde would take the no. 12 (Ruben Loftus-Cheek is expected to leave too) – this is the Frenchman's most often-used number at club and country.
Other options? If Abraham stays, Haaland could get no. 23 or no. 30 (both are available right now) – he's wearing the former number at Norway while the latter was worn by him at Molde and Red Bull Salzburg.
As for Kounde, another possible option is the no. 25 (also free right now) – the one worn by him at France.
