'Exactly how Lampard was making Chelsea average': Barca fan wants his club to follow Blues model

 is no longer the powerhouse it once was and many fans are asking for head coach Ronald Koeman to be sacked.

"What are we supposed to do given the number of injured players? Play tiki-taki, tiki-taki when there's no space? We've tried to win another way,"  Koeman told the media after the 1-1 draw against Granada, where he played Gerard Pique as striker for the last 15 minutes.

Tribuna user DrGee wrote about these comments and the manager's playing style: "This was exactly how Lampard was making Chelsea look average!

"Holding press conferences and saying Chelsea isn't yet ready to compete but maybe they'd be good in few seasons.

"And then he was sacked, same season Tuchel won UCL with the same squad and now they are favourites for both UCL and EPL..  the coach is our problem. 

"He has a losing mentality. He doesn't see anything wrong with losing a game!   The team is not young to compete. Ajax were full of young boys yet we saw how good they played that season in UCL."

Chelsea sacked Lampard in January and since Tuchel took over, the Blues have the best defensive record in Europe and managed to win the 

Clearly, Chelsea's decision has worked very well and Barca fans want their board to show the same ruthlessness and efficiency in hiring a new coach.

"I actually said to the board, 'are you sure of doing this? Because they will not like you. Maybe he deserves more time'," Thomas Tuchel told Sky Sports.

"Because when I think of Chelsea I think about Frank Lampard, John Terry, Petr Cech, Didier Drogba.

"I think about him in the very first moment because he embodies everything that Chelsea is: hard work, aggressive player, big leader but at the same time a normal guy on the pitch and such a team player. A true, true legend.

"But I clearly understood the choice was more or less made and it was take it or leave it. Then I hoped for a fair chance with the players because when you step in, there is not everybody happy from 20, 22 players.

"You cannot expect everybody to be happy with the manager gone. Sometimes he was also simply unlucky, with what the data showed to us.

"But I said very early, 'listen guys, I did not push him out. I am just here now to continue in my way and let's try to be open and give us a chance together.'

"I'm in a top club with fantastic support, super organised and strong group on the field. It's a pleasure to work every day and it's like this since day one."

Chelsea's decision appears to have proven right, with Tuchel winning the Champions League in his first season.

However, it's difficult not to be amazed by the manager's honesty and integrity.

 - and naturally, this subject was raised in the studio.

When asked whether he had mixed emotions while watching Chelsea in the Champions League final, Lampard admitted: "Yeah. When you work towards something, you want to be there, you want to be the manager. 

"I am never going to try and lay claim on that. I was part of the early foundation potentially but Thomas did a fantastic job getting them there.

"I will say, that when I watched it, first I am a Chelsea person and Chelsea fans are happy and the club deserves that. 

, who came in during my time there, makes me pretty proud. But it was a great achievement by them and very well managed."

Frank Lampard was fired after he led the Blues to the top place in the group stage - but even then, few people could've predicted that Chelsea would lift the trophy in less than five months.

Lampard is right, though, that the players that he helped to establish in the first team were crucial to the success, so he might be given a bit of credit for that, too.

Barcelona is sure paying the price for over Reliance on Messi who has carried the team on his shoulders for years, everything goes through him, creativity, shots at goal, game control etc, now he's gone, the spine is broken, they need a fresh start, a new philosophy where all players are relevant and play vital roles, Cfc had also over the years relied on backbone of not one but many players, so as one leaves or retires a replacement is quickly found so the structure does not collapse, people thought we're finished when Hazard left but look at us today .

The transition  erea was the difference  from Lampard to Tuchel.
But just because  it worked for Chelsea  doesn't  mean it will work for Barcelona
