Full-time, Chelsea 7-0 Norwich: LIVE updates, reactions, ratings, stats & more

Full-time: MOUNT COMPLETES HIS HATTRICK!

The game ends 7-0 and this is one of the biggest wins in the history of Chelsea. The difference between the table-toppers and the 20th-placed team became very clear as the game passed.

The defenders scored, the midfielders scored and it was a historic afternoon at Stamford Bridge. There were really no negatives here as Norwich were just outplayed and it's a day the opponents will want to forget.

Tuchel can be more than happy with the result and this inflates the goal difference a lot, which could come in handy during the end of the season in a tight title race. It was a good day for the Blues - let's hope Man City and Liverpool drop points now!

85': Drama at Stamford Bridge as Norwich concede a penalty - Mount missed after a Krul save, but it's a retake for the Blues. Mount steps up again and this one is straight down the middle and in the back of the net. It's 6 goals now and a brace for Mount!

76': Nothing much is happening now as Chelsea have taken their foot off the pedal a little. Here's some Cobham agenda in the meantime:

And Norwich fans having the little fun they can:

68': Loftus-Cheek has checked in for Jorginho and now Hakim Ziyech and Barkley are on too as Chelsea look to take advantage of Norwich being one man down (mind you, the Blues didn't need advantage!)

Havertz and Hudson-Odoi are taken off.

63': At this point, you feel bad for Norwich - Hudson-Odoi's pass is deflected off of Max Aarons and into his own net. It's now 5 goals for Chelsea and with 30 minutes (including stoppage-time) left, another strike might yet come in.

Meanwhile, Gibson is sent off for a second yellow. Norwich are in shambles right now.

57': ANOTHER DEFENDER SCORES!! Ben Chilwell picks up Kovacic's pass in acres of space and it's another strong finish from a Chelsea fullback. Farke looks furious and Tuchel screams in delight - it's 4-0 to the Blues.

54': Mendy lets out a roar after making a strong save - you can see how much the clean sheet means for the keeper!

51': Norwich have changed their formation and look a little more lively, closing down the midfield duo sooner. No threat to the Chelsea goal yet though, as Loftus-Cheek and Ziyech warm up on the sidelines.

The Second-half begins: The Blues more or less have 3 points in the bag, but a couple more goals and a clean sheet would be welcome too here.

Half-time ratings

Hudson-Odoi: 10/10 - What a half! The youngster has been tearing it up on the left-hand side and Norwich have no answer for him. Dribbling, passing, a smooth goal - it's been 45 minutes to remember for Hudson-Odoi.

Mount: 10/10 - A super-strike and then a brilliant through ball to Reece for the 3rd goal, Mount has been at his best here. He's running the offence and winning the ball back too when necessary.

Rudiger: 9/10 - Norwich tried to test the strong centre-back a couple of times but got sent back with nothing. The fans are loving Rudiger's forward runs and at this rate, he might get a goal himself!

Kovacic and Jorginho: 8/10 - The midfield duo have done nothing wrong as they are playing the passes well and keeping a tight shape in the middle. Norwich midfielders can't do anything around the Chelsea duo who have one assist each.

Reece James: 9/10 - What a goal that was! A striker's finish from Reece who is running ahead with a head of steam and tracking back equally well. Stop him if you can!

Half-time summary

It's 3-0 for Chelsea and it could have been way more. Norwich seem out of their depth at Stamford Bridge but take nothing away from the Blues who have been at their fluid best tonight, both in offence and defence.

Mendy has not needed to do anything but make one catch as Mount and Hudson-Odoi run riot. This has been probably the most fun Chelsea performance since...well, Malmo on Wednesday!

42': WHAT A GOAL!! Mason Mount's through ball sends Reece clear and the defence cannot catch up with him - a beautiful dink over Krul follows as Chelsea get their third goal. Norwich will be wishing this game ends at 45 minutes!

howismotunt (reddit): "The lads just seem to be having fun here at this point hahaha. I feel bad for Norwich but wow Reece, what a goal!

35': The Chelsea fans in attendance are loving Hudson-Odoi's work on the left side, while Rudiger's forward runs are also met with a lot of appreciation. Norwich are just dangling by a thread in this game and cannot string together more than 10 passes in Chelsea's half.

27': It's still all Chelsea as Norwich look rattled after the 2nd goal. The Blues are passing the ball well in the final third but some last-ditch clearances from the opponents are halting progress. At this rate, however, a 3rd goal doesn't seem far away.

hammbter (reddit): "Love this Rudiger routine of turning into Messi once every game, he's playing as the false centre-back at time lol"

18': ANOTHER ONE!! Hudson-Odoi is set free by Kovacic, whose through ball is on the mark. Norwich's backline is sleeping here and the finish is quite simple from the youngster, who has been great on the left wing so far. 2-0 to Chelsea.

16': Chelsea haven't had another shot since Mount's goal but continue to press well in the final third. Norwich can't get near Chelsea's goal at the moment.

Meanwhile, Mount became Chelsea's 16th goalscorer this season!

8': GOOAALLLL!! Jorginho's layoff falls to Mason Mount, who strikes a super shot from just outside the box that the keeper has no chance of saving. Chelsea lead and this could just be the first goal of many here.

vaibhavpchu (reddit): "Jorginho assist? Ballon d'Or charge is back on'

Tuchel has some strong words for Hudson-Odoi...

4': Jorginho's through ball into the box is just missed by Hudson-Odoi. Chelsea is on the front foot here, as we expected.
