'Teammates fearing the worst': Latest injury report suggests possible ACL damage for Chilwell

Chelsea beat Juventus 4-0 in their Champions League clash on Tuesday but one issue marred the otherwise spectacular result.

Ben Chilwell had to be helped from the field after picking up a knee injury around the 71-minute mark of the game.

Now, according to the reliable Matt Law, there are concerns that Chilwell has damaged his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament).

The England international is being assessed further, but the report states that his teammates are fearing the worst.

If it turns out to be an ACL injury, that would mean Chilwell is likely out for the rest of the season, which would be a huge blow.

There is no final result yet but it will be difficult for Tuchel to have to go through the season without one of his best players.
