ESPN rank world's best right-backs, centre-backs and left-backs - Chelsea players' positions revealed

ESPN has ranked the best 10 players in the world in each position, from goalkeeper to striker.

In the defence, they have three separate categories for centre-back, left-back and right-back. Let's take a look at where the Chelsea players are ranked here:

Ben Chilwell has not been named in the list. 

Achraf Hakimi was ranked the best right-back, with Ruben Dias finishing first in the centre-back list and Andy Robertson being named the best left-back. 

ESPN rank Mendy 7th behind Courtois, Alisson in top 10 keepers list

 last season, breaking records and keeping a number of clean sheets. 

The Senegalese was awarded UEFA's Goalkeeper of the Year award but since then, individual awards have seen him get snubbed. 

ESPN FC recently released their list of the top 10 keepers in the world, and Mendy is somehow 7th in the rankings.

 already faced a snub when he wasn't included in the top 30 list for the Ballon d'Or. 

Now, the Senegalese has again been overlooked for the Lev Yashin trophy, which is awarded to the best goalkeeper of the year. 

The award went to Gianluigi Donnarumma instead, who helped Italy win the Euros.

How is it all those goalkeepers ahead of mendy when he was the outstanding keeper and above all with the most clean sheets in a derby  league and champions league, yet they all look past mendy. Thats so unfair, donnarumma didnt even top the italy or french league with most clean sheets maybe the euros, are you hearing me EUROS ONLY, this is just a slap in mendys poor face, lucky for mendy we chelsea fans see the truth and we believe mendys is world class and deserves recognition for a change.

When I read such rankings, I wonder whether those who compile it know what the game of football is. I am sure in the eyes if ESPN, Norwich or Bolton won the European Cup, not Chelsea. 
The more we are hated, the more we shall chalk more honours. Keep hating us because we thrive better under such circumstances.
