Willian: 'I had medical with Tottenham but decided to go to Chelsea. Good choice for me, no?'

"I had a medical with Tottenham, but in the end, I decided to go for Chelsea. I think it was a good choice for me, no?" Willian told Rio Ferdinand's YouTube channel Five.

"It was always my dream to play for Chelsea because when I was a child, they tried a couple of times to have a conversation.

"They made some offers, but it wasn't accepted. When I had the chance to move again, I was very happy."

Willian spent seven years at Chelsea between 2013 and 2020, winning two Premier League titles, as well as the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League. He made a total of 339 appearances for the Blues, scoring 63 goals.
