'Maturity beyond his years': Global Chelsea community applaud Lewis Hall's superb debut

Lewis Hall made his senior professional debut for Chelsea in last night's 5-1 win against Chesterfield United. He became the youngest player ever to start an FA Cup game for Chelsea, at the age of just 17.

Hall had a top game as he was involved in three of the five goals and looked very comfortable with whatever he did. The global Chelsea community have appreciated his debut:

Michael Fox: "let's talk about the unknown Hall! What a game he had, he was a hunter and creator from the wing involved in three goals and unlucky not to have scored for himself. Certainly a future player here."

Carralad: "Lewis Hall was defo a 10/10 in my eyes, played a cracking game and at this rate he should start against City too."

Ayobami Tinuoye: "That Hall kid is different. he's a star!!! Bless him!"

Tanish S: "Cobham has struck again. What a player Hall is, can't wait to see him grow and become even better."

Badcogs: "Has been here since U8s, was great to see him have his debut, he did brilliantly. Always looking to create chances, he picked passes most of our first teamers ignore. More to come from the lad."

nicabylie: "At just 17 years old, he was involved in three goals on his Chelsea debut - showing maturity beyond his years throughout. Bright future ahead!"

guiximenes3: "Chelsea have a bright and promising boy in their hands, good game today"

TheLeperLeprechaun: "He was great today. Can tell it took its toll on him though the last 20 minutes we’re pretty grim for him to play through. But he’s certainly impressed. One to look for in Tuchels eyes too. Just gotta work on that fitness. But he’s got a lot of time yet. I hope we see more of him in blue"
