Yet another injury scare: Tuchel reveals why Hudson-Odoi was taken off in Chesterfield win

Callum Hudson-Odoi scored for Chelsea as he netted the team's second goal in the 5-1 win against Chesterfield last night.

However, he had to be substituted off in the 66th minute. Thomas Tuchel explains why: "Hudson-Odoi felt his Achilles again, so we did not take a risk there."

It's never good when an athlete's Achilles area hurts. The Blues already have a few injury issues and while Hudson-Odoi is not a consistent starter, he's a versatile option who has been given a lot of chances by Tuchel.

Hopefully, he feels fine today. We'll have to await further news about the extent of his injury.
