he needs the ball played early,how many times did he point to were he wanted the ball to be played but was not given it, just watch the highlights, still don't rate him as a great centre forward

Did you read the stats? He lost the ball to City 8 times. 7 times the ball was put in the air to him (aerial balls), he couldn't get to the ball each time. That's 15 times. Will you as a player keep passing to someone that immediately puts you back in defense? Let's say it as it is. He had a horrible game. He needs to put in a better performance next time.

Unfortunately, this is not how modern football is being played. You must also contribute in the making of the goal. Look at all the top teams in Europe - Man City, Liverpool, Madrid, PSG, Bayern, etc.- their strikers are very mobile. They don't stand idle and wait for ball to be passed to them before they score. And what does Lukaku want? He had two glorious opportunities on Saturday, he spurned both of them. Meanwhile, Kai Havertz had only one clear chance in the champions league final and he buried it. The same opponents, same formation, and better chances to score, but our £98million striker couldn't find his feet! Shameful!

I'm sorry but it's not good enough at this level. all the front players were awful. no excuses. Tommy Tuchel got his tactics    completely wrong having said that if you play with 7 players fully committed this is what you get nowt. we need more from our front players or they can all go. lazy and and made it easy for city who I may add are worthy league winners they didn't stop 110% against our 35% to say I am furious the sooner we bring back our young hungry academy players the better on current form broja and Gallagher couldn't be taken out of our side. get some fighters in our side please instead of players that raise the white flag pussys we need strengthening even with chilly and James  back 🤬🤬💙
