Lyon turn down third Chelsea approach for Emerson, Tuchel wants him but deal is 'difficult': Romano

As per the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Lyon have now turned down three Chelsea approaches to let Emerson Palmieri leave this season.

The left-back is wanted by Thomas Tuchel in order to cover for the injured Ben Chilwell.

However, Lyon do not want to cancel the loan deal. Chelsea offered €4m compensation as was part of the deal, but the French club are not accepting it.

The deal looks 'difficult as of now', Romano adds.

He also claims that PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa and Inter attacker Ivan Perisic are not being considered as options right now.
