Colwill not pushing for permanent exit, Broja 'a bit more bullish' (reliability: 4 stars)

According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, it's not quite correct to view the cases of Levi Colwill and Armando Broja as identical despite the uncertainty over the futures of both of the youngsters.

Colwill who is yet to play a Premier League game would ideally like to stay at Chelsea. He's not pushing for a permanent exit which means the Blues would be able to give him a loan opportunity somewhere in the Premier League if necessary.

Broja, on the other hand, is described as 'a bit more bullish' after a season on loan at Southampton. It's also said that he's had a tough pre-season. That's probably a reference to the fact that he was sent back to the UK just five days after joining the Blues on the pre-season tour in the United States.

West Ham have switched to other targets as they are closing in on Gianluca Scamacca. There's no shortage of interest in Broja elsewhere, though.

The club will hold more talks over the two academy graduates after the team returns to London.
