Spotted: Koulibaly's vital sliding tackle against Udinese

Kalidou Koulibaly made a couple of very important tackles last night against Udinese, highlighting his positioning and defending skills.

The most important one came in the second half. Udinese were on a counter-attack and the Chelsea defence was a little exposed. They tried for a through pass, with the defence scrambling to get back:

Koulibaly was the last man back for Chelsea, as we can see in the above image. He read the direction and power of the pass very well and slide tackled perfectly to intercept the ball:

Chelsea won the ball back as the centre-back prevented a 1v1 chance for Udinese to score. It was an impressive play from the new signing.
