"There was an offer from Chelsea, but it was impossible to complete a transfer. Of course, I accepted - how can I reject that?" Dinamo Moscow forward Arsen Zakharyan said.
"I knew that they were interested last winter. Of course, it's nice that such advances are given to me, such clubs are watching. Therefore, I try to show my best.
It is clear that not everything is working out now, and I accept all criticism. I am trying, I am training.
"I hope everything will be done soon... maybe in January", Zakharyan added.
Zakharyan, 19, is arguably the biggest Russian talent of his generation. Chelsea reportedly agreed a €15m transfer fee for him but could not complete the deal in time before the deadline.
Dinamo have officially confirmed that the teenager will stay at their club, but also that they remain open to attractive offers, meaning that a January deal is possible.
