 picture has gone viral among Chelsea fans:

Werner never really lived up to the hype either for Chelsea and most of the praise we could have lavished on him was for the little things, such as good movement or pressing.

Nunez was touted to match Haaland's level of goal-scoring by Liverpool fans and the club really did go all out to pay his potential £85 million transfer fee.

Let's hope it stays that way for the rest of his time there too.

 and the Blues boss is clearly a big fan. Although he didn't make any confirmations about Chelsea's interest in him, he did admit that Leao has the ability o play in the Premier League.

"I've been really impressed with him whenever I've watched the games. He's making a difference for AC Milan. He contributes to how they attack how they score. He's a he's a top player.

"In terms of what happens in the future, who knows whether he can do this (play in the Premier League) or not. He's got the capability that's for sure. From what I'm seeing, he is affecting games at the highest level, against top opponents."

"Rafa is grateful to us and I’m interested in what he says to us," 

 technical director Paolo Maldini told CalcioMercato about the future of reported 

"He understands that his path in the coming years must be at Milan, he understands that and tells us as much.

"There will be a negotiation but we know that good players must be paid their value. If the team grows further, Leao will have everything to compete to the fullest.

"Of course, there are no non-transferable players at any team around the world."

It has been rumoured that Chelsea might make a €120m offer for Leao in January after having a €85m bid rejected in the summer.

He's not the only forward linked with Chelsea, though: Christopher Nkunku is understood to be high on their wishlist, and it's not clear if Chelsea can afford going for two such expensive forwards when they also need to strengthen their midfield.

It's not every player that is flourishing in other leagues that can come to premier league and flourish. it takes the really good ones who can take half a chance and make something out of it like Haaland is doing right now. And then again if the player has the midfield that pushes forward like Man city's and not backward or holding possession with late and lame forward passes like chelsea's then they will flourish in the premier league. Nunez, Werner were doing very well in their previous leagues but premier league is a whole new ball game that is very unpredictable. if a team like Leicester City who managed to escape relegation in a previous season could come back and win the league that tells you anything is possible in the premier league.
