They are set to make a huge loss on Lukaku in any case - and yet, they hope that the striker will have a good 

Lukaku has started only three times for Inter this season due to a hamstring issue.

Many fans, especially the Inter ones, expected the Belgian to quickly find his form and score left, right and centre in the Serie A. 

But Lukaku's return has been anything but a success at the moment.

The 29-year-old has scored just two goals since re-joining Inter. He netted on his first official game since the return (against Lecce) and then in the Champions League clash against Victoria Plzen. 

This number of goals is not about Lukaku wasting chances though. He's made just five appearances for Inter so far this season and has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since late August.

Last weekend, the striker played his first minutes since August 30, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 3-0 win against Sampdoria.

Yet the return proved to be premature as Romelu picked up a muscle injury in the 22 minutes he played against Sampdoria.

Lukaku is expected to be recover in time for the World Cup but he's been of very little help to Inter this season. It has been previously 

 that Inter are shocked by the Belgian's physical decline and having second thoughts about buying him from Chelsea next summer.

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the future of 

 - as well as on terms of the current deal between the clubs.

As per the reporter, Inter's official balance confirms they paid €7,8m loan fee for the Belgian who they sold for €113m just a year earlier.

The Serie A club has already discussed with 

 a potential second season-long loan spell in the 2023/24 campaign.

Obviously, Lukaku is also interested in staying at the Italian side after publicly stating that his return to Chelsea was a '

A time has come when chelsea FC just have to buy after due consultation with the recruitment department so as to be sure that the player coming in will fit into the system, a team with players like mendy Kepa Silva James chilwell Azpilicueta kante kovacic Harverz sterling Auba mount etc should not be struggling, it embarrasses me to hear chelsea FC coach making us to believe that we are starting from the scratch no it should not be so..a team with these players should hire a coach that that will assure us that he can work effectively with what we have on ground but like I said the most important is to buy who will fit in,. stay safe and well.
