€281m spent: How Chelsea new signings have fared so far

Chelsea spent €281m to bring seven new players to the club last summer while offloading 19 more either on loan or permanently.

Let's briefly take a look at how the new arrivals have fared so far.

Wesley Fofana. The Frenchman played five games before suffering a knee injury against AC Milan. Not much to report yet.

Aubameyang. The Gabonese striker has scored just three goals in his 13 appearances for Chelsea so far. For now, he doesn't look like a player who can drag Chelsea up the table.

Marc Cucurella. The Spaniard has barely impressed anyone after his €65m from Brighton. He's played 18 games so far but Blues are yet to praise him for his good performance in any of those games.

Raheem Sterling. The Englishman started his Chelsea career brilliantly netting 3 goals from his first 5 games. However, he's form has dipped since then and he's only added 2 more goals in 14 games.

Kalidou Koulibaly. The Senegalese defender has looked shaky and full of indecision in some of his first games for Chelsea. He even bagged a red card in a game against Leeds earlier. We can only expect better from the big centre-half.

Carney Chukwuemeka. The young midfielder has barely played for Chelsea but he's looked sharp and eager when given a chance. He's currently injured which is a surprise for a player who has played just 5 games.

Denis Zakaria. The midfielder has had to endure time on the bench since his loan move from Juventus. However, he showed flashes of brilliance in his first game with a well-taken goal.
