'Here we go': Romano confirms Nkunku will join Chelsea (reliability: 5 stars)

Christopher Nkunku's transfer to Chelsea is a 'done deal' and 'here we go'. Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel.

The RB Leipzig] forward is set to join the Blues in the summer.

Earlier, it was reported that Chelsea would agree to pay above the €60m release clause that would kick in next summer. This way, they are avoiding competition for Nkunku's signing.

The Blues worked on his transfer since September when Nkunku had a medical for his soon-to-be new club.

Nkunku is a reliable goalscorer, having netted 17 goals and 4 assists in 23 appearances for Leipzig so far this season.
