Thiago Silva hints at taking managerial role after Brazil World Cup disappointment

“Sadly as a player I am not going to get to lift this trophy [World Cup], who knows if in future I will get the chance in another role,“ Thiago Silva told beIN Sports.
"It’s difficult. But despite the sadness, life needs to move on. I’m very proud of the boys, of what we’ve done, but unfortunately, it’s part of football," Silva adds.
Silva played the full game in Brazil's quarter-final defeat against Croatia but his team failed to keep a clean sheet and ultimately lost 4-2 in the penalty shootout.
The 38-year-old is an excellent reader of the game and you can bet he would make a good manager for club or country.
