Juventus could offload '3 big players' to sign Mason Mount in 2023

Juventus are willing to offload up to three big players in the coming months to sign Mason Mount, per Calciomercato (a fairly reliable Italian source).

Mount recently turned down a £200K-per-week contract offer from Chelsea as he expects to be paid higher by the club. Thus, his contract negotiations with the club have come to a standstill.

Meanwhile, Juventus will not mind allowing Leandro Paredes (on loan from PSG), Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie to leave to provide the financial capacity to sign Mount.

Rabiot is a combative midfielder for Juve and was drafted into France's World Cup squad in the absence of Pogba and Kante. McKennie also played in midfield for the USA at the World Cup.

Juve are trying to capitalize on Mount's contract situation as he remains one of the lowest-paid among Chelsea senior players. The Englishman hasn't signed a new contract since his return from his loan spell at Derby County in 2019. His current deal runs out in 2024.

Mount's value has been rising remarkably in the market over the past three years. He's currently valued at €75m on Transfermarkt.

Juve could force Chelsea's hand to sell by offering €100m for Mount next summer.
