Former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech paid Brighton's stoppers a visit.

The 40-year-old was asked to talk to the Seagulls' keepers by his former Arsenal coach Salvatore Bibbo, fondly known as 'Sal'.

According to the Daily Mail (h/t Metro), Tottenham are keeping close tabs and are set to rival Chelsea in the race to sign Brighton and Hove Albion forward Leandro Trossard.

The Belgian international, who has his contract on the south coast expiring at the end of this season (Transfermarkt), hasn’t featured in the last two Seagulls games despite being fit.

When his Dinamo Moscow teammate joked that Chelsea look like signing Joao Felix for €111m, the Blues' reported target Arsen Zakharyan joked as he was interviewed by Sport-Express.

"What €111 mln? It's a loan," the forward said. "We have already discussed everything with him [Felix]. He is on the left, and I am in the centre (laughing)".

Chelsea reignite Lavia interest

According to 90min, Chelsea have reignited their interest in Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia who they tried to sign in the summer.
