Spotted: Chelsea teammates approach Joao Felix on his way off the pitch following red card

Some Chelsea players were quick to encourage Joao Felix after he was shown a straight red card for the Blues' 2-1 defeat at the hands of Fulham on Thursday.

Chelsea's vice-captain Jorginho was not left out.

And before Felix left the pitch he was also approached by some squad members on the bench.

The red card against Fulham was Felix's first direct red card in his career. It's a big surprise that he played three years for a physical and often brutish Atletico Madrid side without ever getting a red card.

The forward will now miss Chelsea's next three league games.
