Chelsea have signed so many attackers in the past few weeks that you might've forgotten the fact that the Blues' most-expensive signing ever is still on the club's books.

Romelu Lukaku is out on loan at Inter Milan, and it's safe to say that he has not managed to bring back the magic of his first spell there.

So far, Lukaku has only played eight games for Inter this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He has not scored in 2023 yet and has not started a game since January 4.

Despite all that, Dubois, a Chelsea fan on Twitter, appears to believe that Lukaku could flourish at Stamford Bridge next season when he's assisted by all the top attacking signings.

"Romelu Lukaku. Potter has a plan for you. Bring that beautiful bald head back to the bridge," he tweeted.

"I’ve seen the light. Let him eat, let him do interviews, let him rap, let him ft Lautaro but there’s no way he flops with Mudryk, Felix and Madueke hand-feeding him."

'Better for him to go': Chelsea told to get rid of Lukaku on one condition

Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Romelu Lukaku still has a future at the club only if he is willing to return.

He told Betway when asked if there could be any way back for a big-money No.9: “An in-form Lukaku could be a good force for Chelsea.

"But if he's not right and not willing then it's better for him to go. The problem with Romelu Lukaku is that he's not played much football and has been injured for a while at Inter Milan.

"I think he's said that he doesn't want to be at Chelsea and when a player says that, the club has no choice.”

The Blues splashed out a club-record £98 million ($119m) fee on Lukaku in the summer of 2021.

Things, however, did not play out as planned, with the 29-year-old returning to Inter Milan on an initial 12 months loan.
