Potter reveals if he was involved in deadline rush to sign Enzo, touches on if he can make debut tomorrow

Graham Potter has opened up on Chelsea's deadline day signing, Enzo Fernandez and is looking forward to working with him.

"We’re very pleased to have Enzo with us," Potter said at his pre-match press conference.

"We’ll see whether he can be involved tomorrow, we’ve got to get through the paperwork and make sure he gets the relevant clearance and all of that stuff.

"I’ve spoken with him today. My Spanish isn’t the best and his English isn’t great, so we needed to lean on the translator but we’ll get there. He is an impressive young man and we're looking forward to working with him."

When asked if he was involved in the deadline day discussions to get the deal over the line, Potter said: "I'm the head coach so I don't get too involved in the nitty gritty of deadline day. I am just totally focused on the next day's training and preparing the team for Fulham.

"I've been involved too long to know that there are some things you can't control and I couldn't do anything at that point to change things. I found out that we’d signed Enzo when it was all done and I'm very pleased, because he is a fantastic player."

He could probably starts tomorrow, because we have 3 important midfielders injured and one sold to arsenal. RLC or Gallagher is not too dependable, Enzo will get his debut tomorrow but maybe not a starting lineup.

I hope and trust that the lineup won't be as someone predicted. Azpilicueta has no place in the starting lineup. Madueke must also start ahead of Ziyech if the coach wants to take the game to Fulham. Havertz is not a striker. There're strikers now. We have had enough! Time to change is now.

pls let's try and respect Azpilicueta whether he play or not he's key mind you Ziyech was our best player in the last game let's always support the team, the new players have much to learn from the old talking about the dynamics of EPL games is not all down to talents
