'Keep going Mason': Chelsea fans reveal plans to support Mount with banner at Stamford Bridge

However, not everyone thinks that the Englishman is a lost cause. A Chelsea supporter group is planning to put up a banner to support the player at the 

"Ignore the Twitter wallies who have never had the privilege to see you play — Stamford Bridge and the MHL (Matthew Harding Lower Stand) will always back you!" a fan account CFC North Stand posted on Instagram.

"A message to the clowns on Twitter from all of us," CFC UK Fanzine tweeted.

"We’re getting your banner out for the Southampton game btw. Keep going Mason, you’ve got our backing."

Chelsea fans pinpoint the biggest problem with Mason Mount

 is mental and physical fatigue. The player needs rest, they say.

: "He needs to rest for the main time because sometimes players lose confidence."

The game against Liverpool was the biggest indictment on Mount's lack of form. Some fans argue his contract impasse may have a thing or two to do with it.

'It's been tough but slowly we are getting through it': Mount on Chelsea's rough patch

 and stated his desire for the team to be back at the top.

"We find out the exact same time you find out [transfers]. It's exciting times, we want to continue to keep getting better. 

"That's the goal for us. We don't want to be in 10th position. We don't want to be mid table. We want to be at the top.

"I know it's been tough recently, but I feel slowly we are getting through it and we will come out the other end and be even stronger. We need to keep going."

A true analysis of the young chap. Instead of criticising and trying to dump him to the rubbish heaps of football by some MM haters, the young lad needs our undiluted support during his trying times. MM is one of us who came through the bedrock of our great academy regime. I support the rest of those who are not loosing hope and faith in one of our own. You right bro. But i think Mount is the cause of his deep inform, the reason is ;he has put alot of responsibilities on himself by wanting to dribble, score, pass at the same time. I think he's over working himself this way may be he will get better if he keeps things simple. My observation bro

Maybe you were not reading comments on this platform. The majority of the so called supporters want him sold. They say he is not Chelsea material or standard.

Are you for real?? 🥴🥴🥴. Are you saying MM is the cause of the team's slamp or did I get your centiments right? Come on bro, let's be realistic here. The whole team hit a bad patch of form save for Silver. No one is worth mentioning  or warrants any praise and this my bro can't be MM's fault. Unless you saying if MM sneezes, the whole team catches a cold.

They are been paid to perform, few months of form is understandable, but MM has been on the decline since UCL, Mount should be benched so he can find his form, and if by the end of the season he’s not improving, and don’t want to accept what the club is offering him, then he should be sold cos he doesn’t deserve the 300k he wants as his performance doesn’t deserve such a pay rise, he’s cobham’s grad doesn’t mean we should be sentimental and accept a player who’s underperforming.

Hate is a strong word, I don’t believe people want to hate someone they haven’t even met. We love Chelsea and just want to win. Mount has to perform.. this is what he’s paid for. Top flight football can be very unforgiving and that’s why top managers get sacked too

Mason Mount last season was way ahead of everyone in terms of goals & assists. Shouldn’t be written off. at the same time mount could not help tie the team together often enough and too often wasted possession in decent positions. As new players bed in mount could be due some time on the bench as he continues to struggle to find his best form.
What Chelsea are lacking in terms of attacking cohesion, Mount has so often been the one to provide in recent seasons when others failed. If mount can find his form it will substantially help Chelsea's threat and connection between midfield and attack. It's a key area Chelsea are lacking and a problem Potter must look to solve with Mount.
