'Positive performance overall': Potter reacts to Everton stalemate

Chelsea drew 2-2 against Everton at home, conceding a late equaliser.

"It was a positive performance overall, but it’s hard to say that when you’ve only got one point," Graham Potter told Sky Sports after the game.

We did a lot of things really well, but we didn’t defend well enough in a couple of actions. We’re disappointed to drop points.

"Most of the game we controlled it fairly well but the first goal is really disappointing because we spoke about that before the game. Then the second, we exposed ourselves to a big space.

"Result wise its a step back. Performance wise I think it was a step forward. We attacked well. There were individual performances that were positive but again, the feeling is frustration because we've dropped points."

It's difficult to argue with Potter here: for 89 minutes, Chelsea were head and shoulders ahead of the opposition. However, they failed to make it count in the end.

We have a good vehicle in very good condition and a very good road but no driver. Potter is our problem. Today's game is no different from all other games. He is just riding on his luck, and the sooner we let him go, the better. Come to think of it, you are leading by a lone goal, and you decide to take on an offensive midfielder (attacking winger) and bring on a Gallagher? As if that was not enough warning, we get lucky with a penalty, and you decide to take off Kovacic and bring on cheek. And then you go ahead and take on an attacker (Felix) and bring on a midfielder when we still need goals to cushion us. Worse is the fact that we are playing against a weaker Everton side. Frankly speaking, Potter is not good enough to manage Chelsea FC. Enough is enough! POTTER MUST GO! We are tired of this inferior management of the team. #SackPotter

I Can't just directly say that the owner is selfishly but he also don't have any hope of getting a trophy that's why he employ such sluggish Coach who doesn't even have a dream🙄

Player is not the problem, Potter is using sentiment on his coaching ways, which will lead to his failure in big club like Chelsea. Imagine putting your attacking Force on Bench through out. Mudryk and Madueke. They should have push Everton back with pace. Simple logic.
