According to the publication, Brighton received a £21.5m compensation for 

 and other staff members who left for Chelsea in September last year.

Reporter Nizaar Kinsella points out that this would be a world-record compensation paid for any single manager.

However, it is specified that this sum includes the compensations for some members of Graham Potter's staff. Potter joined Chelsea alongside five other coaches - but the cost of his move should've by far exceeded that of all the others put together.

Speaking on how he’s felt about his time as

this is disgusting.  During the Abramovich reign, folks knew we had money but that Chelsea didn't easily pay extravagant premiums just bc would could. 

This fellow American chap spends like the mentality of a poor broke NBA player, just bc he can.  now teams are just jacking up prices bc they know Chelsea can spend the money and if they really want the talent, they will pay, trade, or do something to make it work.
