Joao Felix 'informs' Atletico Madrid he wants permanent Chelsea move (reliability: 4 stars)

According to Portuguese reporter Pedro Almeida, 

He has reportedly informed his parent club 

Publicly, Felix has been careful when asked about his future but said several times that he's enjoying his time at Stamford Bridge.

The feeling is mutual as Todd Boehly is reportedly planning to complete a permanent move for the Portuguese forward.

The loan agreement with Atletico does not include a buyout clause. However, there's a confidence that a deal can be reached in the region of €100m.

It's quite certain that the attacker's future lies at the Bridge, although the clubs have not reached an agreement on the details of his sale yet.

Chelsea would pay around €100m in the summer for Felix, although the Blues  are looking at ways to lower this fee.

Joao himself is extremely happy at Chelsea and doesn't want to go back to Atletico. He's found a new challenge in West London and wants to be a long-term part of Boehly's project.

The Portuguese looked like a breath of fresh air after arriving at the Bridge, revitalising Chelsea's attack. However, his numbers are rather disappointing: eight games, a goal and zero assists. And a red card in his first game.

In the 3-1 win against Leicester, Felix missed a glorious chance, hitting the post after going one-on-one against the goalkeeper, scored a disallowed goal and lost the ball leading to the Foxes' first-half equaliser.

The jury is still out for the Portuguese — but this Chelsea fan is already sure we shouldn't make Felix's move permanent.
