"The clinical nature in front of goal," Frank Lampard told Sky Sports when asked what made the difference in Chelsea's 4-1 defeat to Man United.
"We were the better football team in the first half - in possession, chances we matched them at least.
"To be 2-0 down is probably a sign of where we're at. Second half, probably a sign of where we're at.
"Our goal count for the season shows it's a problem we don't score goals enough. We gave them some threats in the first half but not many in the first half.
"Some of the defending in the second half showed why we play a back five at times."
Chelsea had a fair share of chances in the first half before completely falling apart after the break.
The Blues are now 12th in the Premier League table with a chance to fall down to 14th on the final day of the season when they take on Newcastle.
