Atletico president confirms Pochettino does not have Felix in his plans, will return to Spain

Mauricio Pochettino has already announced in his negotiations with Chelsea that he does not want Joao Felix at the club, as per Marca and Fabrizio Romano.

Atletico president Cerezo also has confirmed: “We have been informed that Poch does not count with João Félix for Chelsea. He will return here, we’ll see… we’ve nothing planned.”

The new manager views Felix as a skilled, technical player but does not believe he will fit in with Pochettino's hard-running training sessions and intense style of play.

The Portuguese attacker likes being at the club and would much rather prefer to stay on, than to return to Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid.

Atletico also want to sell the player to Chelsea as there are no other interested parties, even for a loan.

Good... We need a Coach who is clear on who he wants and who he doesn't... The Board should stop buying players because they want it. History proves that if a Coach selects the players he wants, that Team becomes the Best on Pitch..

My revered brother, In my own opinion, Christopher Nkukwu is Joao Felix with more goals guaranteed. Carney Chukwuemeka will be a good backup for him Mason Mount is more aggressive and can press high than Joao Felix. He can score more goals, too. To reduce the bloated squad and to avoid financial fair play. Why not return loaned players and completely avoid buying them. It seems to me that Poch get this right ✅️. May we all succeed with him

Of course Poch got it right. Joao Felix isn't that clinical or superb in front of goal. We had been frustrated about his miss goals of which has contributed to our goal drought. I wasn't impressed about him at last. If he was that good, he would have taken us close to top four.

bullshit, arrant nonsense. u people don't know what Sterling is made of, and don't underestimate Raheem Sterling bcoz he will score more goals if Chelsea is back to form. Sterling might not be able to dribble like before, but I'm telling u that he's a regular goal scorer, but only when his team plays well.
