2 brightest sparks, 5 deserve to be offloaded: Chelsea players tierlist for 2022/23 season

It's been a horrible season for Chelsea: the Blues ended up finishing 12th in the Premier League, getting knocked out of the domestic cups after just one game and exiting the Champions League at the quarter-final stage.

Several players will surely be offloaded in the summer - and deservedly so. Joao Felix and Denis Zakaria may have their fans, but their performances have not warranted the kind of transfer fees it would take to make their loan moves permanent.

Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have surely played their last games for the Blues already, as well.

At the other end of the scale, there are two players who barely deserve any criticism since arriving in January.

Benoit Badiashile and Enzo Fernandez have shown why the Blues went ahead with their purchases.

The rest fall somewhere in between for different reasons: injuries (Reece James, N'Golo Kante), lack of end product (Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke) or just sheer mediocrity (Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek).
