Former Watford forward Troy Deeney argues that Jadon Sancho is not an ideal tactical fit for what Enzo Maresca is trying to build at Chelsea.
"I just think from a purely footballing point of view, I don't see how Chelsea works for him, because Chelsea have worked best from what I've seen so far when players are running in behind," Deeney said on talkSPORT.
"And I think at Man United he didn't suit what Ten Hag wants. He wants high pressure. He wants people to run in behind. And I don't think that's Jadon's game.
"I think he needs to find the team he's more suited, I say, an Arsenal and a Man City, in terms of they're going to work it up to that area."
Sancho has so far only featured once for Chelsea, coming on after half-time against Bournemouth. This time was enough for him to make an impact, as he provided an assist for Christopher Nkunku's match-winning goal.
