Under Enzo Maresca, Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana have established themselves as regular partners at the heart of Chelsea's defence.
Speaking to the club's official website, Fofana spoke about how he gets along with Colwill.
"On the pitch it’s simple – I know him, he knows me and every game is a little bit better," the Frenchman said.
"We don’t need to talk too much. I feel good with him, he feels good with me.
"Away from the pitch we have a very good relationship. We are not just teammates, he’s a friend, my guy."
Fofana is just 23 years old and Colwill is two years younger, so Chelsea are hoping to have these two players as the bedrock of their team for many years to come.

Unfortunately the opposition usually does not give Fofana time for his brain to work out what his feet are doing, he gets put under pressure and he stuffs things up. I certainly don't have a lot of confidence in this lad! Too many crucial mistakes.

Be patient Christian & remember that last season Fofana was out injured & Colwill moved between LCB & LB
