Chelsea face £75,000 fine for 7 yellow cards in Newcastle game, set unwanted Premier League record

Chelsea have become the first team in the Premier League history to receive six or more yellow cards in three games of a single season — and it only took them nine matches.
A Premier League team with six or more bookings in a game is fined by the FA on a progressive scale.
After the Newcastle game, Chelsea will be fined £75,000. Previously, they were fined £25,000 after playing Bournemouth, and £50,000 after facing Nottingham Forest.
Overall, Chelsea have been fined £150,000 this season for their players' failure to control themselves.
Against Newcastle, four out of seven bookings were issued for timewasting or arguing with the officials.
