8 deals between Barca and Juventus that may happen: ranking them from best to worst

Both Spanish and Italian outlets report that Barcelona and Juventus are in negotiations. They reportedly consider exchanging some of the players between them.

A lot of names have been mentioned since the first reports emerged. Let's see what formulas the clubs are taking into consideration and what other moves are possible, at least on paper.

We will start from the best exchanges and will finish with the moves that might enter history as the worst deals ever.

We will assign a 'stupidity index' that will stand for how stupid someone could be to accept such a deal, the worse a deal is, the higher the index be.

Both midfielders are over 30 and they might have only a few good seasons left in them. Letting the Croat go would be a great move as he has only one year left of contract.

As for the Bosnian, his playing style fits Barca better than that of Rakitic. Obviously, we shouldn't even consider making him a regular starter but he could be a great option to have on the bench. Plus, his experience could help Arthur and Frenkie de Jong.

Stupidity index: 0.5/10

Just like Ivan, the Chilean's contract ends in summer next year so Barca should act quickly and find a suitor for 'king Arturo'. However, this deal has its CONs, of course. Vidal offers muscle and spirit to our midfield, something Miralem will never have.

Stupidity index: 3/10

The Uruguayan has been linked with Blaugrana in the past and we even tried to sign him back when he was at Boca Juniors, rumour has it. The 22-year-old has established himself as a regular face in the Bianconeri's midfield.

Since his arrival in Italy, Bentancur has recorded 96 matches, three goals and nine assists across all competitions. However, his lack of experience might not be enough to hit the ground running at Camp Nou.

Bernardeschi is another player that was linked with us in the past but the rumours never made enough sense. The only good thing about the Italian is that he can play on both wings.

It is believed that Barca consider parting ways with Braithwaite, who has played only three matches for us this season. He deserves at least six more months before making a decision on him.

Stupidity index: 6/10

Barcelona do need a right-footed centre-back that would act as a substitute for Gerard Pique. However, Rugani is not even a starter at Juventus so why add him to your squad?

The 25-year-old has played only seven matches this season, he's just a benchwarmer. We've already got Jean-Claire Todibo and Ronald Araujo, why bring someone new?

Stupidity index: 7/10

The Dutchman had his chance to join us last summer but he joined the 'Old Lady' instead. His debut season in Italy hasn't gone as planned and he is still struggling to adapt to Serie A.

Let him prove that he is ready to play in a top 5 league before making another attempt to sign him.

And we can't afford to lose Todibo. The Frenchman was doing great at Schalke 04. He should be welcomed with opened arms by Quique Setien. We need the coach to give him a real chance, something Ernesto Valverde never did.

Stupidity index: 9/10

We've already established that Jean-Clair should stay at Camp Nou, so let's talk about De Sciglio,

The 27-year-old has played only 12 matches this season. He has missed a big chunk of the season with an injury. When he was fit, the right-back stayed on the bench. Surprisingly, Diario Sport claim that Barca are considering exchanging these two players.

Stupidity index: 10/10

Yes, Miralem is good and yes, he would suit our style. Age is important, though. Arthur is only 23 years old and he has been doing very well this season, recording four goals and four assists. And his peak years are ahead, unlike Pjanic.

Stupidity index: 10/10

Our users know why such a move would be a disaster and we have nothing to do but agree.
