Two Ligue 1 sides reportedly want Barca's in-demand gem Konrad de la Fuente

Barcelona's winger Konrad de la Fuente is believed to be in high demand, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from two Ligue 1 sides, Nice and Monaco. Each club could only sign Konrad on a loan deal. Curiously, both of them have strong Blaugrana links.

Monaco are currently coached by Robert Moreno, Luis Enrique's former assistant at Barcelona.

As for Nice, they reportedly have an excellent relationship with Barca following Moussa Wague's loan deal.

The Senegalese registered 197 minutes across five matches and bagged two assists during his spell which was cut short by the Ligue 1 cancellation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, De la Fuente could still remain at Barca. His future depends on whether Barca B manage to win the promotion play-offs to qualify for Spain's second-tier.

Konrad's current deal expires on June 30, 2020. It's not been made official yet but he signed a new three-year deal, Mundo Deportivo believe.

De la Fuente is one of Barcelona's biggest talents. His best attributes are his speed, dribbling, his versatility (can play on both wings and even as a centre-forward) and he is also good in one-on-one situations.

The youngster is described as a pure winger, he often stretches the rival's backline by playing wide on the flanks.

In total, De la Fuente has been involved in seven goals in 18 games across both Barca B and Juvenil A.
