Ter Stegen reportedly asks more time to decide as Barca offer new 5-year contract

• Marc-Andre ter Stegen isn't in a rush to make a decision whether to continue at Barcelona or not, Catalan outlet Ara report.
• The goalkeeper wants to first learn the club's future project, including who the next coach will be, before making his mind up.
• Blaugrana have offered him a contract until 2025 and plan to significantly increase his salary, which is currently set at €4m (half of what Ousmane Dembele is earning).
• The new deal will mean that Ter Stegen stays at Camp Nou until he's 33 years old so he wants to make sure he gets the best possible conditions.
• Currently, Jan Oblak, David De Gea, Ederson and Alisson are all on better terms than the German.
• Barcelona see captain material in Marc and are optimistic he will continue in Catalonia.
