  • The 19-year-old striker confesses he doesn't know anything about Barca's supposed interest.
  • He admits he isn't ready for such a bold move yet even though he used to work with Koeman in the national team.

"Interest from Barcelona? I don't know, you would have to ask my agent," AZ Alkmaar's striker Myron Boadu told Fox Sports.

On the potential transfer, he added: "Either way, I don't think I'm ready for that yet."

On Sunday, Diario Sport revealed that Ronald Koeman may consider the 19-year-old as a potential candidate to become Barca's new centre-forward.

The coach knows the player well as the duo used to work together at the Netherlands national team.

Last term, Boadu recorded 20 goals and 13 assists in 39 matches across all competitions.

The Catalans are in search of a new striker as they reportedly look to offload Luis Suarez this transfer window with Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez and Lyon's Memphis Depay named as the priority targets.
