This summer, a new wave of young talents from Juvenil A (U19) have been promoted to Barcelona B. Tribuna.com present the five of the most promising individuals of the fresh La Masia crop.

The 19-year-old is considered to be among the most talented young goalkeepers in Spain. Last year, Tenas helped Spain's youth side win the U19 European Championship while being the starting goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman has called up Arnau to train with the first team.

The Guinean-born Spanish international is also training with the first team as Barcelona have big hopes for him. Last term, Moriba made 11 appearances for Barca B and scored one goal. Garcia Pimienta even trusted the youngster to start in all three promotion play-off matches this summer.

The American started training with the main squad already this summer, with Quique Setien calling up him for the UEFA Champions League matches vs Napoli and Bayern Munich.

As part of the U19 team, Konrad made six appearances for the reserves, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

  • Gerard 'Peque' Fernandez

The 17-year-old is considered to be one of the most promising strikers at La Masia of the last five years. Last term, Peque made seven appearances for Barca B, scoring one goal. The Spaniard can also play as a left winger.

  • Nico Gonzalez

The central midfielder needs to improve defensively but he's a very creative player already. Unfortunately, Nico didn't get to play for Barca B last summer, but he made six appearances and recorded one assist for the U19 side in the UEFA Youth League.
