Barcelona have been closely following the North American market for years, identifying 3 potential stars for future, highly reliable Moises Llorens and Samuel Marsden of ESPN reveal.

They are currently keeping tabs on MLS stars Brenden Aaronson, Gianluca Busio and Cade Cowell.

Brenden Aaronson

  • 19-year-old attacking midfielder;

  • Will officially join RB Salzburg in January 2021 for €5m;

Gianluca Busio

  • 18-year-old central midfielder;
  • 5 goals and 6 assists in 52 games for Sporting Kansas City;
  • Averages 1.8 tackles and 1.6 shots per game in the MLS this term;
  • Completes 87.3% of his passes;
  • 6 goals in 15 games for the United States U17 and 2 appearances for the U20 side;
  • Of Italian origin which may facilitate any potential transfer to Europe

Cade Cowell

  • 17-year-old centre-forward;
  • 1 goal and 1 assist in 15 games for San Jose Earthquakes;
  • 1 goal in 3 games for the United States U17.
