'No one supported me at Barca. Everyone's killing Lenglet now, I know how it feels': Jeremy Mathieu

"I had a very bad time in my last year with Barcelona. But I don't understand why they went for me as eleven players play football. I felt alone in the dressing room. No one offered support. For me, that's not football," former Barca centre-back Jeremy Mathieu has told RAC1.

"Everyone is killing Lenglet now, and I know how it feels. He has to try and be positive, to turn it around and try his best," the Frenchman added.

Just like Clement Lenglet lately, Jeremy Mathieu was heavily criticised for giving away easy goals while at Barca. Besides, the defender had a smoking habit.

Overall, the retired player made 91 appearances for the Catalans, scoring 4 goals.
