GoalBeat, my personal concern is that there are few people on Laporta's team right now who could actually help us come out of the financial crisis. Joan mentions the names of great coaches and scouts but that's not what we need in the first place.

With  the Barto  scandal and  this   election  mud slinging  , the  BRAND  is getting  damaged  and  with the  pandemic  ,. well have  to rise like a Phoenix  from the  ashes .

It’s not just about Messi staying.  

It’s also implying that Messi doesn’t trust or believe in Font and his team.  


Praise D., I don't think Joan is in contact with Leo, otherwise we'd see plenty of media leaks about it. Perhaps Laporta has gained trust from Messi's entourage which is his father and some other relatives who are also official club members.
